Brief  Revamp the IIT Madras alumni website to improve UX and modernise the visual identity for a highly accomplished, globally distributed community.

Problem  The existing platform felt static and under-designed for one of India's most prestigious institutions — failing to inspire pride, engagement, or active alumni participation.

Result  Redesigned the platform with a vibrant, modern visual language, enhanced alumni profiles, improved navigation, and better surfacing of events, mentorship, and giving opportunities.

ROI  Alumni platforms with higher engagement directly drive donations and mentorship activity. A 10% increase in active alumni users on a platform of this size can translate to significant uplift in annual giving campaigns.

Insight  An alumni platform has one job: make people proud to be part of something. If the design doesn't do that, the community will disengage — and giving dries up.
